Tak sedikit dari publik yang mengaitkan 'orang besar' tersebut berasal dari partai biru alias Partai Demokrat.
Bahkan nama mantan Presiden ke-6 RI, Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono pun ikut terseret dalam isu ini.
Kemudian dalam sebuah pernyataan pada Kamis (31/7/2025), Jokowi langsung membantah tuduhan yang dilayangkan kepada SBY di kediamannya, Sumber, Banjarsari, Solo, Jawa Tengah.
Jokowi menegaskan bahwa ia tak pernah menyebutkan adanya sosok 'berjaket biru' yang menjadi dalang di balik isu ijazah palsu, maupun soal pemakzulan anaknya, Gibran.
Apalagi jika orang yang tertuduh dalam kasus ini adalah seorang SBY.
Menurut Jokowi, SBY merupakan sosok negarawan yag baik dan bukan lah tokoh yang diisukan selama ini.
Lantas Jokowi pun meminta agar tidak ada pihak yang merasa tertuduh setelah adanya pernyataan mengenai sosok besar ini.
Diketahui sebelumnya, mantan Presiden ke-7 RI ini sempat mengakui adanya 'tokoh besar' di balik polemik ijazah palsu dan rencana pemaksulan putranya sebagawai wakil presiden RI.
Meski begitu, Jokowi enggan membocorkan siapa tokoh yang ia maksud tersebut.
