WOLFSBURG: VW-Boss Blume feilt am Hammer-Sparplan! Werksschließung wird real trotz Millionen-BoniVW-Chef Blume erwägt Werksschließungen trotz Millionen-Bonus: Beim Autobauer aus Wolfsburg spitzt sich die Lage weiter zu. Laut einem Bericht plant der Konzern ein neues Sparprogramm, mit dem die Kosten bis Ende 2028 konzernweit um 20 Prozent gesenkt werden sollen. In Führungskreisen rund um Konzernchef Blume sollen dabei auch Werksschließungen nicht ausgeschlossen worden sein. Gleichzeitig sorgt ein möglicher Millionen-Bonus für das Management nach einer bilanziellen Verschiebung von rund sechs Milliarden Euro für Kritik – insbesondere bei Gewerkschaftern und VW-Mitarbeitern, die um ihre Jobs fürchten. Die VW-Aktie reagierte trotz Krise zunächst mit einem leichten Plus.
WELT beleuchtet zudem die aktuelle Konjunkturlage: Die Industrieproduktion in der Eurozone stieg 2025 im Jahresschnitt um 1,5 Prozent, schwächte sich jedoch im Dezember um 1,4 Prozent gegenüber dem Vormonat ab. Besonders die Investitionsgüterproduktion ging zurück. Das Ifo-Geschäftsklima im Wohnungsbau hellte sich leicht auf, bleibt jedoch im negativen Bereich. International enttäuschte Japan mit einem Wirtschaftswachstum von nur 0,2 Prozent. An den Märkten zeigte sich der DAX wenig bewegt und notierte zeitweise über 25.000 Punkten, während es bei Einzelwerten zu deutlichen Branchenrotationen kam.
