Cubana de Miami extorsionó a anciano y convirtió su casa en clínica clandestina

Una nueva denuncia sacude a la comunidad: una cubana de 60 años, exdirectora de medicina interna del hospital Larkin, fue arrestada tras convertir la casa de un anciano en un asilo clandestino sin licencia. Según las autoridades, la mujer llegó a extorsionar a la víctima por más de 100,000 dólares.

El inmueble, propiedad de Lázaro Riesgo, terminó transformado en un centro improvisado para ancianos, con siete pacientes hacinados y quejas constantes de familiares. Todo el negocio se manejaba en efectivo, al margen de la ley, y sin condiciones para el cuidado digno de los mayores.

Lo más insólito es que la acusada insiste en preguntarse: “¿Dónde está el delito?” El delito está claro: fraude, abuso de confianza y poner en riesgo la vida de personas vulnerables. Porque en este país —a diferencia de Cuba— todo se puede lograr si se hace bien y con licencias. Cuando se hace mal, la justicia actúa.
