Sarebbe necessaria quindi, secondo i pazzi, la creazione di un sistema di difesa europea coerente con valori presunti democratici, da difendere anche dall'ipotetico assalto di regimi dittatoriali sempre più aggressivi – vedasi, per esempio, la Russia.
