Heidelberg (ots) Nach ersten Erkenntnissen kam es in einem Rohbau bei Arbeiten im Dachgeschoss des Anwesens im Rahmen von Schweißarbeiten zu einem Funkenflug auf Dämmwolle, welche zu brennen begann und sich zu einem größeren Brandherd entwickelte. In der Folge des Brandausbruches explodierte in dem Objekt mindestens eine gelagerte Gasflasche.Glücklicherweise befanden sich zum Zeitpunkt des Brandausbruches keine weiteren Personen mehr auf dem Gelände. Die Feuerwehr konnte die massive Rauchentwicklung schnell eindämmen und den Brand löschen. Zur weiteren Überprüfung und zur Ausschließung weiterer Brandherde wird derzeit durch die Polizei eine Drohne eingesetzt. Die Schadenshöhe ist bislang nicht bekannt.
