Siamo la generazione più connessa della storia. E forse anche la più sola. Ma cosa resta quando lo schermo si spegne? In questo TEDx Talk, Eleonora Laudisa esplora la frattura tra ciò che mostriamo online e ciò che siamo davvero e ci accompagna, attraverso la filosofia greca, in un viaggio per ricostruire la nostra casa interiore: un’identità unica e coerente, capace di tenere insieme tutte le nostre versioni digitali e reali. Senza quella casa, ci rimane una vetrina. E nessuno abiterebbe una vetrina. In Italia, oltre 700.000 ragazzi sotto i 25 anni convivono con ansia e depressione (fonte: report OCSE sulla salute mentale). Siamo iperconnessi, ma spesso non sappiamo più stare con noi stessi senza uno schermo davanti. Eppure questa non è una storia nuova. Nel mito greco, Narciso si innamora e si perde nel proprio riflesso. La ninfa Eco, rifiutata da Narciso, si consuma fino a svanire: due forme della stessa fragilità - esistere solo nell’ossessione dell’immagine perfetta o nella ricerca continua dell’approvazione degli altri.
