Das jüngste Land der Welt ist zugleich auch eines der ärmsten: Der Südsudan. Und jetzt laufen Gelder aus Deutschland für humanitäre Hilfe aus. In dieser 11KM-Folge ist Tobias Dammers vom WDR zu Gast und erzählt von Palästen und Schilfhütten, von einem Krieg um die Macht im Land und von ausgehenden Medikamenten auf einer Kinderstation. Er war mit einem Recherchestipendium der “Aktion Deutschland hilft” im Südsudan unterwegs, gefördert vom Auswärtigen Amt.
