Kedua sekolah tersebut adalah Jakarta Nanyang School dan Mentari Intercultural School, yang berjarak kurang dari 10 kilometer.
Ancaman diterima Mentari Intercultural School melalui email, sementara Jakarta Nanyang School mendapat pesan lewat WhatsApp.
Adapun pelaku meminta uang tebusan sebesar 30.000 dolar AS atau setara Rp497,7 juta kepada pihak sekolah.
Dalam pesan ancaman itu, pelaku mengaku telah memasang bom di lingkungan sekolah dan memberi waktu 45 menit bagi pihak sekolah untuk mengirimkan uang ke alamat yang disebutkan.
Setelah menerima laporan, anggota Brimob dan tim penjinak bom segera mendatangi kedua lokasi.
Kemudian polisi segera melakukan sterilisasi dan penyisiran secara menyeluruh di area sekolah.
Hasil pengecekan menunjukkan tidak ditemukan benda mencurigakan maupun bom di kedua sekolah.
Kapolres Tangerang Selatan, AKBP Victor Inkiriwang, memastikan kegiatan belajar mengajar berjalan normal dan aman.
Ia juga mengimbau siswa, orang tua, dan pihak sekolah untuk tidak panik menghadapi ancaman tersebut.
Seluruh proses pengamanan dilakukan dengan standar tinggi demi keselamatan warga sekolah.
Pihak kepolisian kini tengah menyelidiki asal-usul pesan teror bom tersebut.
Koordinasi dilakukan dengan Direktorat Reserse Kriminal Umum dan Direktorat Siber Polda Metro Jaya untuk mencari pelaku.
