Flucht nach Crash auf A5 bei St. Leon-Rot
Am Sonntagabend gegen 23:15 Uhr kam es auf der A5 bei St. Leon-Rot in Fahrtrichtung Karlsruhe zu einem Verkehrsunfall mit insgesamt vier beteiligten Fahrzeugen.Nach ersten Erkenntnissen fuhr ein weißer BMW mit hoher Geschwindigkeit auf dem linken Fahrstreifen auf einen Kia auf. In der Folge wurden ein weiterer BMW sowie ein Peugeot in den Unfall verwickelt.
Besonders brisant: Als ein Ersthelfer sich um die Verletzten kümmern wollte, entfernte sich der Fahrer des weißen BMW unerlaubt von der Unfallstelle.
Die A5 musste in Richtung Karlsruhe zunächst bis etwa 00:30 Uhr voll gesperrt werden. Anschließend wurden die Fahrstreifen nach und nach wieder freigegeben. Es kam zu einem Rückstau von rund einem Kilometer. Die Unfallaufnahme dauerte bis etwa 01:15 Uhr an.
Der Sachschaden wird auf etwa 25.000 Euro geschätzt. Zwei Fahrzeuge waren nicht mehr fahrbereit und mussten abgeschleppt werden.
Die Polizei bittet Zeugen, die Hinweise zum Unfall oder zum flüchtigen weißen BMW geben können, sich bei der Autobahnpolizei Walldorf zu melden. Receive SMS online on sms24.me
