Despite challenging wet and damp conditions, the 28-year-old displayed exceptional patience and tactical brilliance, finishing the race in 27 minutes and 49.7 seconds. Gulveer stayed with the leading pack before unleashing a powerful final-lap sprint to overtake competitors and claim second place.

Australia's Key Robinson won gold, while Kenya's David Mueri secured bronze. The achievement has established Gulveer Singh as India's leading long-distance runner.
