The government has now shifted into action mode to counter the adverse effects of the conflict between Iran and the United States. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will hold a meeting with the Chief Ministers of all states. During this meeting, conducted via video conferencing, Mr. Modi will brief the state governments regarding the current situation.
The discussion will cover the measures being undertaken by the Government of India, the extent of preparations already completed, the volume of our oil and gas reserves, the specific countries from which imports of crude oil and natural gas have commenced, and the manner in which the Central Government expects cooperation from the state governments during these times. However, the Chief Ministers of five specific states are not expected to be present at tomorrow's meeting.
