Sono parole drammatiche quelle pronunciate da Ferdinando Bassetti in un video pubblicato in queste ore su Vimeo. Il 35enne trentino di Riva del Garda è stato intercettato e arrestato dalle forze israeliane a bordo di una barca a vela tra quelle che fanno parte della Global Sumud Flotilla: «Se state vedendo questo video è perché sono stato rapito dalle forze di occupazione israeliane. Faccio parte di una missione nonviolenta, che porta aiuti umanitari e mira a rompere il blocco illegale di Israele sulla striscia di Gaza» racconta Bassetti mentre si riprende. Negli scorsi giorni, anche la famiglia dello scrittore si era fatta viva: «Nessuno ci informa, nessuno ci contatta per darci conforto, solo il sindaco di Riva del Garda Alessio Zanoni — sottolinea la madre —. Quanto accaduto è come fosse un fastidio da sbrogliare da parte del governo, invece si tratta di una missione umanitaria per far sentire la voce di chi protesta per le ingiustizie nel mondo».
