En la 15ª Exposición Internacional Aeronáutica y Aeroespacial de China celebrada en noviembre de 2024, el J-35A, un caza polivalente furtivo de peso medio de nueva generación desarrollado independientemente por China, hizo su primera aparición pública y realizó una exhibición de vuelo, atrayendo gran atención de todos los sectores.El J-35A adopta una configuración convencional monoplaza, bimotor, con fuselaje integrado, dos timones verticales en flecha inclinados hacia fuera, y estabilizadores horizontales totalmente móviles, diseñado con integración de configuración general-aerodinámica-sigilo. Es un componente esencial a escala para sistemas de combate furtivo y antifurtivo, centrado principalmente en la superioridad aérea pero con capacidades de ataque a superficie.
