Dugaan itu disampaikan pengamat politik Universitas Paramadina, Ahmad Khoirul.
Ia mengatakan Prabowo sudah memberikan kode keras saat pelatikan kepala daerah di Istana Merdeka pada Kamis (20/2).
Pasalnya saat itu Prabowo disebut meminta kepala daerah yang ragu mengikuti retret agar mundur.
Umam membaca kalimat Prabowo sebagai kode keras kepada para kepala daerah dari PDIP.
Sebab, hanya beberapa jam setelahnya, PDIP menerbitkan surat larangan kepada kadernya mengikuti retret di Magelang.
Umam menduga Prabowo sudah mendapat informasi terkait sikap Megawati itu.
"Tetapi pada saat yang sama barangkali juga presiden sudah mendapat informasi bahwa ada salah satu partai politik yang kemudian bersiap mengeluarkan kebijakan arahan, instruksi untuk tidak mengikuti agenda retret di Magelang," ungkap Umam.
