Ibnu Abbas orang cerdas, banyak ilmu dan periwayat hadis.
Selain dilengkapi arena permainan untuk keluarga, baik yang berbayar dan gratis, kota Thaif juga memiliki kereta gantung atau gondola, disebut juga Telefric Thaif. Tarif kereta gantung 100 riyal atau setara 400 ribu rupiah.
Di atas gondola kita dapat menikmati pemandangan kota Thaif dari udara, tebing curam, jalanan bak bertingkat dan berkelok, indah nian.
