Starship Flight 12 NET Date Revealed + New Trajectory Explained! | Starship Update

Starship Flight 12 is getting closer than ever, with the first NET launch date now on the table—and a brand-new trajectory that could pave the way for future tower catches.

This week, SpaceX pushed forward across Starbase with full launch retraction tests at Pad 2, major progress on the Ship Quick Disconnect arm, and a dramatic deluge test that may have revealed issues at the tank farm. Meanwhile, Ship 40 has rolled out to Massey’s for cryogenic testing ahead of Flight 13, and Booster 20 stacking is nearing completion inside Mega Bay.

We also take a deep dive into the latest testing at Massey’s, where the booster liquid oxygen landing tank is finally preparing for full structural load testing—and where test tank B18.3 continues to simulate real flight stresses, now even with TPS tiles installed.

Over at the launch site, Pad 1 construction continues, the Air Separation Unit is coming online, and Pad 2 is rapidly approaching flight readiness. And on the Space Coast, LC-39A’s Starship tank farm is coming to life as SpaceX prepares for its first Florida launch.

Finally, we break down the new Flight 12 trajectory—including its unique reentry profile and what it could mean for future catch attempts.
