Mereka menagih janji Presiden Prabowo Subianto terkait kebijakan pekerja alih daya dan penyesuaian upah buruh.
Pernyataan itu disampaikan langsung oleh Ketua Partai Buruh, Said Iqbal.
“Partai Buruh dan elemen mahasiswa turun ke jalan karena kebijakan pemerintah terkait pekerja alih daya belum dijalankan sesuai janji Presiden Prabowo Subianto, dan upah minimum belum sesuai perhitungan inflasi dan pertumbuhan ekonomi,” ujarnya.
Aksi demo dilakukan lantaran kebijakan pemerintah terkait outsourcing belum dijalankan sesuai janji Presiden.
Selain itu, upah minimum dinilai belum sesuai dengan perhitungan inflasi dan pertumbuhan ekonomi.
Adapun jumlah peserta aksi dari Jabodetabek dan Karawang mencapai 4.000 hingga 5.000 orang.
Aksi serentak juga berlangsung di kota-kota besar lainnya seperti Bandung, Surabaya, Medan, Makassar, dan Lombok.
Perlu diketahui demo ini digelar oleh Partai Buruh bersama Koalisi Serikat Pekerja yang terdiri dari 74 elemen buruh dan rakyat.
Aksi demo dikabarkan berjalan damai, tertib, dan tidak mengandung kekerasan.
Adapun enam isu utama yang diangkat meliputi penghapusan outsourcing, penolakan upah murah, penghentian PHK, reformasi pajak, penyelesaian kasus korupsi di Kemenaker, serta penyelenggaraan pemilu bersih.
Ia menekankan kenaikan upah minimum sebesar 8,5 persen sesuai inflasi dan pertumbuhan ekonomi harus segera dijalankan untuk menjaga keadilan bagi buruh.
