Eine Umfrage des Deutschen Ärzteblatts zeigt: Zwei Drittel der Mediziner haben bereits Gewalt erlebt, fast die Hälfte sogar körperlich. Besonders gefährlich sind Notaufnahmen, Wartebereiche und Rezeptionen. Kliniken reagieren mit Antigewalttrainings, Sicherheitsausrüstung und Bodycams. Auch die Politik will handeln. Ein Gesetzentwurf sieht für Angriffe auf medizinisches Personal künftig bis zu fünf Jahre Haft vor. Die Reportage zeigt, wie ernst die Lage ist – und warum die Ärzteschaft Alarm schlägt.
