In this video, I discuss how Luke Dashjr saved Bitcoin in 2013 when there was an inadvertent hard fork.
Luke ignored Gavin Andresen's simplistic appeal to "longest chain wins, let's just let this thing play out," and instead proposed a practical solution that saved Bitcoin from an unnecessary hard fork.
That's why I always find it ironic when some people try to portray Luke as some rigid fundamentalist who doesn't understand nuance and context, when Luke has, in fact, demonstrated over the years that he understands those things (as well as Bitcoin's codebase) better than pretty much anyone else.
