Психолог Анастасия и начальник космодрома Виктор проводят эксперимент, чтобы выяснить, сможет ли команда справиться с двухлетним полётом до Марса. Опытный космонавт Ковалёв, его бывшая жена и медик Наталья, биолог Оксана, бортинженер Платон и китайский космонавт Вэй даже не догадываются, что два года они проведут не в космосе, а в павильоне. Всё идёт по плану, пока на космодроме случайно не оказывается Митрич.
