Ia menegaskan Polda Gorontalo tidak akan tinggal diam jika ada anggota yang melakukan pelanggaran etik atau pidana.
Sebelumnya viral di media sosial cekcok antara penambang emas ilegal dengan Kapolres Boalemo.
Dalam video tersebut penambang itu tak terima alat beratnya disita polisi.
Ia mengaku dibekingi salah satu anggota Polda Gorontalo dan mengancam Kapolres.
Terkait hal itu Kombes Pol Desmont menegaskan siap memproses anggota tersebut jika ada bukti yang kuat.
