Wer eine Solaranlage besitzt, bekommt neue Möglichkeiten, seinen Strom zu verkaufen. Energy Sharing heißt das Zauberwort, also das Teilen von Energie. Wer in sonnenreichen Stunden mehr Strom produziert, als benötigt, soll den Strom mit seinen Nachbarn teilen können. Eine entsprechende Neuregelung tritt in Deutschland im Juni in Kraft. Viele setzen große Hoffnung in die neuen Möglichkeiten. Doch es gibt auch jede Menge Stolpersteine.In dieser Folge des ARD Klima Updates erklären wir Euch anhand eines konkreten Beispiels im baden-württembergischen Ladenburg, wie Energy Sharing funktioniert und wo die Probleme liegen. Kann Energy Sharing zum Gamechanger bei der Energiewende werden? Darüber spricht Host Marcus Schödel mit Margareta Holzreiter, die sich intensiv mit dem Thema beschäftigt hat und in Ladenburg vor Ort war.
Im zweiten Teil des Podcasts ordnen wir die neuen Pläne und die Möglichkeiten mit der Energie-Ökonomin Claudia Kemfert ein. Sie sieht große Potenziale beim Energy Sharing. Der Staat dürfe dabei aber nicht nur ankündigen, sondern müsse auch in die Umsetzung kommen. Außerdem erklärt Kemfert, was in anderen Ländern schon besser läuft und warum intelligente Stromzähler eine wichtige Rolle dabei spielen.
