Prabowo bertolak ke China saat kondisi Indonesia ini tengah memanas lantaran demo ricuh hingga masyarakat yang banyak menuntut perbaikan di Indonesia.
Menurut Menteri Sekretaris Negara (Mensesneg) Prasetyo Hadi, kunjungan tersebut untuk menjaga hubungan baik dengan pemerintah Tiongkok.
