We’re all raised to identify as either an extrovert or introvert, with each of them determining your personality and social life. Even though you might think that it isn’t a big part of who you are, it contributes to the subconscious self image and causes us to limit ourselves to the characteristics of whatever we align with. As an extrovert, you make less time for yourself, and as an introvert, you’ll hesitate to go out more. Learn what extroverts and introverts really are, what they aren’t, and why it’s beneficial to drop the labels entirely. Hi I’m Aurora Leung-Vermette, and I’ve been extremely fortunate to join the TEDx speakers in my final year of grade 12! Coming from Walter Murray, I’ve had the opportunity to try things I love doing, such as badminton, art, and contributing to SRC. Outside of school, I love researching psychology and debating topics with friends, so I’m excited to delve into my interests through TEDx.
