Chúa phù hộ ông Trump” - đội ngũ tranh cử của ông Trump viết trên X.
Cũng trong ngày 14-7, ông Trump xác nhận tham dự Đại hội toàn quốc của đảng Cộng hòa, nơi ông dự kiến sẽ nhận đề cử để chính thức trở thành ứng viên đại diện đảng này cho cuộc đua vào Nhà Trắng.
Đại hội được tổ chức tại TP Milwaukee, bang Wisconsin vào ngày 15-7 và kéo dài trong 4 ngày. “Tôi định hoãn chuyến đi đến Wisconsin và Đại hội toàn quốc của đảng Cộng hòa trong hai ngày, nhưng vừa quyết định rằng tôi không thể để một kẻ xả súng hoặc một kẻ ám sát thay đổi lịch trình hoặc bất kỳ điều gì khác. Do đó, tôi sẽ đến Milwaukee theo đúng lịch trình” - ông Trump viết trên mạng xã hội Truth Social.
