Menyusul pasca terjadinya serangkaian pembunuhan terhadap sejumlah pemimpin terkemuka Hamas.
Seperti diberitakan Al-Jazeera Menteri Pertahanan Israel, Yisrael Katz mengancam Israel yang dikabarkan menargetkan kembali dua orang.
Dimana target itu disebut menyasar pada panglima militer Izz al-Din al-Haddad dan pemimpin politik Khalil al-Hayya, Sabtu (13/5/2025).
"Izz al-Din al-Haddad ada di Gaza, dan Khalil al-Hayya ada di luar negeri... Anda orang berikutnya," kata Yisrael Katz dalam sebuah pernyataan yang dirilis kantornya Sabtu (13/5/2025) lalu, seperti diberitakan Al-Jazeera.
Sumber keamanan Israel menyebut nama lain yang dikabarkan juga ditargetkan ISrael seperti Osama Hamdan dan Sami Abu Zuhri.
Militer Israel dan dinas keamanan Shin Bet mengancam akan membunuh Khalil Al-Hayya dan Izz al-Din al-Haddad.
Diketahui keduanya merupakan seorang pemimpin Brigade Al-Qassam, sayap militer Hamas.
Sementara itu dikabarkan, Izz al-Din al-Haddad yang dijuluki "hantu Brigade Al-Qassam" dimana dirinya berkali-kali selamat dalam upaya pembunuhan dan kini menjadi incaran Israel.
