Alasan Polisi Jadikan Tersangka Mahasiswa UI yang Bertugas sebagai Tim Medis Saat Aksi May Day
JAKARTA, KOMPAS.TV - Mahasiswa Fakultas Ilmu Budaya Universitas Indonesia (FIB UI) Cho Yong Gi menjadi salah satu dari 14 orang massa aksi Hari Buruh atau May Day yang ditetapkan sebagai tersangka oleh polisi.Cho Yong Gi diperiksa oleh penyidik di Polda Metro Jaya pada Selasa (3/6/2025). Cho Yong Gi didampingi tim kuasa hukum dan dosennya saat menjalani pemeriksaan.
Taufik Basari selaku dosen di Filsafat UI mengatakan Cho memang turut hadir dalam aksi demo itu. Namun, kapasitas Cho di tengah aksi itu adalah sebagai relawan tim medis.
Polda Metro Jaya membenarkan mahasiswa UI yang jadi tim medis dan paralegal, turut diamankan dalam aksi peringatan Hari Buruh atau May Day 1 Mei 2025 lalu.
