Copet Beraksi di Kuta Terekam CCTV: Turis Australia Rugi Rp20 Juta, 2 Pelaku Langsung Ditangkap
BALI, KOMPAS.TV - Aksi pencopetan terhadap wisatawan asing di kawasan Kuta, Bali, ramai beredar di media sosial.Berkat rekaman CCTV, tak perlu waktu lama, polisi pun berhasil menangkap dua pelaku.
Dari rekaman CCTV terlihat salah satu pelaku beraksi dengan cepat melakukan pencopetan terhadap wisatawan asing di Kuta, Bali.
Satu orang berperan mengalihkan perhatian korban, sementara satu pelaku lain mengambil dompet dari dalam tas pinggang milik korban warga negara Australia ini.
Tak perlu waktu lama, polisi langsung bergerak cepat menangkap kedua pelaku di lokasi persembunyiannya.
Kepada polisi, pelaku mengaku sudah lima kali beraksi di lokasi berbeda di kawasan objek wisata Kuta, Bali.
Usai dicopet, korban WNA Australia mengaku kehilangan uang Rp20 juta.
Atas perbuatannya, kedua pelaku dijerat Pasal 362 KUHP dengan ancaman hukuman paling lama tujuh tahun penjara.
