Con un estilo narrativo que imita a los exploradores de la televisión, el creador recorre barrios de la capital en busca de «tesoros» poco convencionales: baches, edificios abandonados, mansiones olvidadas o campismos en ruinas.
Su personaje —una especie de Indiana Jones urbano con chaleco y boina— utiliza el humor, los juegos de palabras y la improvisación para retratar problemas estructurales del país como el abandono y la desidia, mientras crea un universo satírico propio donde Cuba se transforma en «Despingolandia y Apagonía».
