Disponible jusqu'au 17/03/2030Après une phase de désarmement, le monde semble glisser vers une nouvelle ère atomique. Certains États jouent sur la peur en brandissant l’option nucléaire. Dans "Tracks East", un photographe à Tchernobyl, une musicienne ukrainienne et une réalisatrice au Kazakhstan prouvent à quel point cette menace est tangible.
En Ukraine, le photographe Anton Yukhimenko nous emmène dans la zone d’exclusion de Tchernobyl. Fasciné par ce lieu, il y retourne sans cesse malgré la guerre et les restrictions d’accès.
Peu de temps avant l’invasion russe de l’Ukraine en 2022, le groupe Go_A a tourné un bout du clip de son titre "Shum" dans les territoires contaminés autour du réacteur. Leur ambiance dystopique leur semblait faire écho à la situation politique tendue.
Au Kazakhstan, des générations entières ont vécu à proximité de Semipalatinsk, principal site d’essais nucléaires de l’Union soviétique, qui avait fait exploser plus de 450 bombes entre 1949 et 1989. La réalisatrice kazakhe Aigerim Seitenova rend visible un traumatisme refoulé depuis des décennies.
