Anikas Liebesleben beginnt klassisch: Verliebt, verlobt, verheiratet. Mit ihrem Mann bekommt sie Kinder und stellt irgendwann fest: Etwas fehlt. Oder jemand. Beide fangen an, Monogamie in Frage zu stellen und werfen dieses Konstrukt letztendlich über den Haufen. Seit fünf Jahren hat Anika nun neben ihrer Ehe auch noch eine Beziehung mit einem weiteren Partner. Ihr Ehemann datet andere Frauen. Der Weg dahin war lang und nicht immer einfach, es brauchte viele Gespräche. Doch nun empfindet Anika ihr "neues" Leben als sehr erfüllt. Zurück möchte sie nicht mehr. Zwei Partner, sechs Kinder und mehrere Berufe, darunter der besondere einer Analogastronautin, all das muss Anika unter einen Hut bekommen.
