Adapun saat kejadian, Wabup Yuki tengah dalam perjalanan menuju Kabupaten Pangkep, Sulawesi Selatan untuk mengunjungi pembibitan ikan.
Imbas kejadian ini, mobil Toyota Alphard warna putih tersebut mengalami ringsek di bagian depan sisi kiri.
Yuki mengatakan dirinya tak mengetahui persis kronologi karena saat kejadian dirinya tengah tertidur.
Berdasarkan informasi, korban yakni Muhammad Ali tengah mengendarai motor Honda Beat dari arah yang sama dan hendak memutar.
Nahas, terjadi benturan hingga membuat Muhammad Ali mengalami luka berat dan meninggal dunia.
Korban sempat dilarikan ke puskesmas namun nyawanya tidak tertolong.
Petugas Unit Lantas yang tiba di lokasi segera melakukan pengamanan TKP, mengatur lalu lintas, serta mengevakuasi kendaraan yang terlibat.
Adapun satu unit sepeda motor serta mobil Toyota Alphard yang terlibat kecelakaan dibawa ke Kantor Polsek Tinambung.
