Democrat Haley Stevens has broken with her party to endorse GOP nominee Mike Rogers following days of public tensions with her former primary rival, Abdul El-Sayed. Stevens appeared with Rogers at a Detroit church today on what was supposed to be a day of unity for Michigan Democrats.Stevens’ chief of staff and communications director have quit following her endorsement of Rogers in Michigan’s critical Senate race, two sources told CNN.
