Rismon Buka Suara usai Eks Rektor UGM Cabut Pernyataan soal Ijazah Jokowi

JAKARTA, KOMPASTV - Penuding Ijazah Palsu Jokowi, Rismon Sianipar menanggapi penarikan pernyataan dari Prof. Dr. Sofian Effendi.

"Saya dan kami memahami tekanan psikologis akibat ancaman dari Jokowi Lovers yang akan melaporkan Bapak Prof. Dr. Sofian Effendi. Jadi kami memahami tetapi kami juga tetap mengapresiasi keberanian dari Prof. Dr. Sofian Effendi," kata Rismon kepada KompasTV, Jumat (18/7/2025).

Rismon berharap Prof. Dr. Sofian Effendi untuk tetap menegakkan integritas sesuai dengan apa yang ada dalam himna UGM.

Lebih lanjut Rismon juga memastikan bahwa video yang diunggah Youtube Langkah Update, sudah sesuai persetujuan Prof. Dr. Sofian Effendi.

"Terkait dengan siaran live, memang kami sudah menyiapkan sebelumnya dan Prof. Dr. Sofian Effendi telah siap untuk direkam dan siarkan secara live dan ada banyak saksi terutama mereka-mereka yang alumni UGM," kata Rismon.

Sebelumnya, Mantan Rektor Universitas Gajah Mada atau UGM Prof. Dr. Sofian Effendi menyebarkan rilis kepada media terkait ucapannya di youtube Langkah Update bersama terlapor kasus ijazah Jokowi, Rismon Sianipar.

Mantan Rektor Universitas Gadjah Mada itu mencabut pernyataannya soal ijazah mantan Presiden Joko Widodo.

"Saya menyatakan bahwa pernyataan Rektor UGM Prof. Dr. Ova Emilia tertanggal 11 Oktober 2022 memang sesuai dengan bukti-bukti yang tersedia di Universitas. Sehubungan dengan itu, saya menarik semua pernyataan saya di dalam video tersebut dan memohon agar wawancara dalam kanal YouTube tersebut ditarik dari peredaran," tulis Sofian di laman rilis kepada media.
