Era il 2012 la prima volta che lo hanno arrestato, l’ultima nel 2024. Sami Saeed Abdul-Sa'i è un giornalista freelance palestinese. Prelevato in Cisgiordania dalle forze israeliane il 24 febbraio 2024 racconta: "un ufficiale mi faceva delle domande, sostenendo che appartenessi a una fazione palestinese. Mi ha fatto una proposta: potevo essere liberato subito, in cambio avrei dovuto collaborare con i servizi segreti israeliani, diventare un loro informatore. Ho rifiutato e mi hanno portato nel carcere di Megiddo. Mi hanno tenuto in carcere per 16 mesi".Bendato, picchiato, torturato, stuprato. "Un gruppo di secondini ha cominciato a picchiarmi finché sono caduto per terra. Mi davano colpi in faccia, alla schiena, alle parti intime. Ad un certo punto un secondino è salito su di me. Mi ha messo un piede sulla testa e l’altro sul collo.
