Pembacokan itu ternyata dipicu dendam dan sakit hati karena perselingkuhan yang berujung perceraian.
Tersangka M (54) dan anaknya DCW (23) melakukan pembacokan setelah menahan emosi selama berbulan-bulan.
DCW sakit hati karena istrinya berselingkuh dengan korban.
Akibat perselingkuhan itu, DCW bercerai dan istrinya memilih menikah dengan korban.
"Istri korban bercerai dengan tersangka itu sudah lima bulan lalu. Namun sebelum resmi menikah dengan korban, sempat ada perselingkuhan ketika masih menjadi istri sah," ujar AKBP Latif, Senin (8/9/2025).
Kapolres Probolinggo, M Latif mengatakan perselingkuhan itu telah berlangsung sejak 2023.
Bahkan warga sempat menggerebek keduanya saat berada di rumah ibu kandung sang istri.
Korban disebut sering mengancam tersangka setelah perceraian sehingga membuat pelaku DCW stres dan menceritakan pada ayahnya.
Karena berbagai ancaman itu lah, tersangka kerap membawa senjata tajam selama empat bulan terakhir untuk antisipasi.
Saat peristiwa terjadi pada Selasa (2/9/2025), kedua tersangka melihat kendaraan korban parkir di kios bensin Kecamatan Sukapura.
Sempat terjadi adu mulut di lokasi kejadian hingga tersangka M tersulut emosi dan mengeluarkan celurit dari dalam jaketnya.
Ia kemudian menyabetkan sajam tersebut berkali-kali ke arah korban.
