🎬 በሜክስኮ የመጀመሪያዋ ሴት ፕሬዚዳንት ተመረጡ
በሜክሲኮ ትናንት ሰኞ ይፋ በሆነው ፈጣን የቆጠራ ውጤት የገዥው ፓርቲ እጩ ክላውዲያ ሼንባም ፕሬዚዳንታዊ ምርጫው አሸነፉ፡፡ ይህ በሀገሪቱ የመጀመሪያዋ ሴት መሪ ያደርጋቸዋል፡፡
የብሔራዊ ምርጫ ተቋም ያወጣው የውጤት ናሙና እንደሚያመለክተው የሜክሲኮ ከተማ የቀድሞ ከንቲባ ሼንባም ከ58.3% እስከ 60.7% ድምጽ በማግኘት አሸንፈዋል።
ሼንባም ስለ ውጤቱ በሰጡት አስተያየት “ዛሬ እኛ የሜክሲኮ ዜጎች አራተኛው የለውጥ ሽግግር ሂደት ቀጣይነት እንዲኖረው አረጋግጠናል፤ በ200 ዓመታት ውስጥ በሪፕብሊኳ የመጀመሪያዋ ሴት ፕሬዚዳንት ይኖረናል” ብለዋል፡፡
ሼንባም 100 ሚሊዮን ካቶሊኮች በሚገኙባት ሜክሲኮ የመጀመሪያዋ ሴት ብቻ ሳይሆኑ በሀገሪቱ ታሪክ የአይሁድ ዝርያ ያላቸው የመጀመሪዋ ፕሬዚዳንት ይሆናሉ፡፡
ሼንባም በሀገራቸው ከ60 ከመቶ በላይ ተቀባይነት ባላቸው የግራ ዘመሙ መሪ ፕሬዝዳንት አንድሬስ ማኑኤል ሎፔዝ ኦብራዶር ዘንድ ብዙ ተወዳጅነትና ብዙ ድጋፍ አግኝተዋል፡፡
የሼንባም ገዥው ፓርቲ አብዛኛውን የምክር ቤት መቀመጫዎችን መቆጣጠሩ ተገምቷል፡፡
ከፍተኛ ተቃዋሚዎች የነበሩት ሌላዋ ተፎካካሪ ተቃዋሚዋ የምክር ቤት አባል እንዲሁም የሀገሬው ተወላጅ የሆኑት ሶችትለ ጋልቬዝ፣ ከ26.6 ከመቶ እስከ 28.6% የተገመተ ድምጽ አግኝተዋል።
ምርጫው ከመከፈቱ ከሰዓታት በፊት፣ በዘመቻው ወቅት ቢያንስ 25 የፖለቲካ ተስፈኞች ተገድለዋል፡፡ ከእነዚህ መካከል ሁከት ባለበት ምዕራባዊ ግዛት ውስጥ የአካባባቢው እጩ አንዱ ነበሩ፡፡
ሜክሲኮ ውስጥ እኤአ ከ2006 ጀምሮ መንግስት የአደንዛዥ ዕፅ ዝውውርን በመዋጋት በሚያደርገው ጥረት ከ 450,000 በላይ ሰዎች ተገድለዋል በአስር ሺዎች የሚቆጠሩ ድብዛቸው ጠፍቷል፡፡
