Gaza Ceasefire | From Captivity to Freedom: Meet the 20 Hostages Back in Israel | WION OriginalsAfter over two years in captivity, the final 20 Israeli hostages held by Hamas have been freed as part of a historic ceasefire agreement. This marks the end of 738 days of uncertainty and anguish.
In exchange, Israel has released 250 Palestinian prisoners and over 1,700 detainees. The deal, mediated by the U.S., Egypt, Qatar, and Turkey, also involves the return of 28 deceased hostages' remains.
