MALANG, KOMPAS.TV - Jelang perayaan Kemerdekaan Republik Indonesia, perajin lampion di Kota Malang kebanjiran pesanan.
Di momen ini, lampion merah putih banyak dipesan oleh pelanggan hingga luar Jawa.
Di rumahnya, kawasan Bunulrejo Kota Malang, Ahmad Syamsudin bersama karyawannya tengah sibuk menyelesaikan 1.500 lampion pesanan para pelanggan. Karena bertema Hari Kemerdekaan Republik Indonesia, lampion yang dikerjakan oleh perajin bernuansa merah putih.
Ahmad Syamsudin bilang, untuk perayaan kemerdekaan tahun ini, pesanan lampion meningkat 40 hingga 50 persen dibanding tahun lalu. Untuk momen kemerdekaan kali ini, pesanan lampion datang dari berbagai kota, seperti Surabaya hingga Medan. Harga untuk sebuah lampion mulai Rp30.000 hingga Rp80.000.
Untuk model lampion yang banyak dipesan kebanyakan adalah bulat dan model bulat panjang seperti kapsul. Menurut Ahmad, pemesan lampion cukup bervariasi, mulai dari kantor pemerintahan bahkan panitia perayaan Agustusan di kampung-kampung.
Ahmad bersama 13 karyawannya akan menutup pesanan lampion hingga awal Agustus nanti. Setelah itu, para perajin akan fokus menyelesaikan pesanan lampion yang sudah masuk.
