Zelensky, Fubini e il teatro della (finta) democrazia

In un recente dibattito televisivo con Marco #Travaglio, direttore del #FattoQuotidiano, Federico #Fubini, vicedirettore del #CorrieredellaSera, ha dichiarato in modo programmatico e con una certa protervia che l’ #Ucraina è una democrazia.
Intendeva, naturalmente, porre in contrapposizione la democrazia ucraina con la dittatura autoritaria della #Russia di #Putin.

Non è la prima volta, in effetti, che i cosiddetti professionisti dell’ #informazione ripetono con convinzione (e quasi in modo pavloviano) che l’Ucraina è il paradiso della democrazia, il tempio della libertà, un modello universale di diritti.
Si tratta, però, di una menzogna evidente, priva di riscontri nella realtà. Non dimentichiamo, per inciso, che Volodymyr #Zelensky (il 'guitto di #Kiev', attore nato con la N maiuscola) prodotto mediatico più americano che ucraino, ha: imposto un canale televisivo unico, perseguitato la Chiesa ortodossa, limitato drasticamente i partiti di opposizione, messo fuori legge il Partito Comunista e, infine, è supportato da formazioni come il battaglione neonazista Azov. Davvero un curioso concetto di democrazia, non v’è dubbio.
