E' invece, in modo del tutto inatteso, la gauche a trionfare, con il capo di La France Insoumise, Jean-Luc Mélenchon, il quale Mélenchon ora rivendica il governo. Queste le sue parole. "Siamo pronti, #Macron riconosca la sconfitta, al dovere di chiamare il Nuovo Fronte Popolare a governare". Emmanuel Macron e la sua maggioranza uscente non crollano in verità, come invece si era da più parti previsto.
Al contrario, si posizionano addirittura davanti al Rassemblement National di Le Pen, la quale figura dunque, come già dicevamo, come la grande sconfitta dopo la conventio ad excludendum stabilita nei giorni scorsi contro di lei. Sappiamo infatti che Macron e la sinistra radicale si erano, per così dire, "alleati" per sconfiggere la Le Pen, qualificata come il nuovo fascismo di ritorno.
