Hal itu disampaikannya dalam sidang sejumlah perkara yang menguji UU TNI di Mahkamah Konstitusi, Jakarta, hari ini, Kamis (9/10/2025).
Pasal yang dimaksud yakni Pasal 47 UU TNI, di mana pada sejumlah ayat, disebutkan bahwa prajurit TNI dapat menduduki jabatan pada lembaga atau kementerian setelah mengundurkan diri atau pensiun.
Namun menurut Suhartoyo, pada ayat 5 di pasal tersebut, terdapat kontradiksi di mana panglima masih menangani pembinaan karir prajurit TNI yang duduk di jabatan tertentu.
