Die deutsche Rüstungsindustrie hat 2024 so viel exportiert wie noch nie – unter anderem in die Ukraine und nach Israel. Doch wem und wohin deutsche Unternehmen Waffen liefern, unterliegt strengen Regeln. Eine davon lautet, nicht in Krisengebiete zu liefern. Bricht Deutschland also seine eigenen Vorgaben? Tim Aßmann aus dem ARD-Hauptstadtstudio ist Experte für Außen- und Sicherheitspolitik und war auch Korrespondent in Israel. Er erzählt uns in dieser 11KM-Folge, wie das mit den Waffenexporten eigentlich funktioniert, wer über sie entscheidet – und wieso es trotz strenger Regeln so viele Waffenlieferungen an Israel und die Ukraine gibt.
