Tersangka, Imam Prasetyo (35) mengaku geram karena kucing tersebut sering buang kotoran di rumahnya.
Kemarahan Imam semakin memuncak ketika burung merpati peliharaannya diterkam oleh kucing tersebut.
Ia pun menembak kucing itu menggunakan airgun hingga mati, Senin (15/7/2024).
"Iya saya akui menembak kucing milik Pak RT sebanyak tiga kali," kata Imam di Mapolrestabes Semarang, dikutip dari TribunJateng.com, Rabu (17/7/2024).
Rekaman video penembakan beredar luas hingga memicu kemarahan pencinta kucing.
Akibat perbuatannya, Imam dijerat pasal 406 KUHP dengan ancaman 2 tahun 8 bulan penjara.
