你是否一直等著某個人道歉，覺得只有他承認錯了，自己才能好好生活？《大學炸彈客》讓我想到，當我們認定事情只能有一種答案，痛苦會怎麼持續下去。金獎影帝羅素克洛飾演的心理學教授亨利．莫瑞，邀請十六歲的哈佛學生泰德參與實驗。少年以為自己受到理解，研究人員卻刻意利用他的信念與脆弱，進行羞辱與操弄。教授不肯停下傷害學生的研究，泰德逐漸走向報復。在我看來，電影裡雙方對自身信念的執著，讓悲劇一步步發生。
執著，常常是認定「事情一定要照我的想法」。不同的意見都被視為錯誤，其他選擇都不願考慮。既不肯調整期待，也不願承擔改變的代價，人就只能反覆受苦，甚至傷害別人。關係出了問題，可以溝通、調整相處方式，也可以拉開距離。只接受對方改變，就容易忽略自己還能做的選擇。
這集有聲書評，從教授與學生的關係，談到《白鯨記》追殺白鯨的亞哈船長，以及《無間道》不肯面對過去的劉建明。他們的故事，也讓我們回頭看看：自己是否還在等一個可能永遠不會出現的結果？
放不下的人，往往有太多委屈。開始過得好，不會讓受過的傷變得不重要；還沒有原諒對方，也可以先照顧自己。該追究的責任可以繼續處理，不想再往來的人，也可以保持距離。翻篇需要接受失望與不甘心，也可以慢慢來。
