Pemimpin Thailand Salahkan Kamboja atas Konflik Perbatasan

JAKARTA, KOMPASTV - Imbas Bentrokan Thailand dan Kamboja atas wilayah perbatasan, rumah sakit Thailand dan fasilitas terdekat di provinsi Surin rusak parah.

Pemimpin Thailand mengatakan Kamboja mungkin bersalah atas kejahatan perang dalam konflik perbatasan.

"Sangat disesalkan bahwa Kamboja telah memilih untuk menggunakan kekuatan militer dan melepaskan tembakan terlebih dahulu," kata Penjabat Perdana Menteri Thailand, Phumtham Wechayachai dikutip dari AP, Sabtu (26/7/20250.

Phumtham mengatakan serangan dari Kamboja telah menargetkan rumah sakit dan kawasan permukiman lebih dari 20 kilometer dari perbatasan.

"Mengakibatkan hilangnya nyawa dan harta benda yang sangat besar, termasuk 13 korban jiwa warga sipil, di antaranya perempuan, anak-anak, dan lansia. Ini dapat dianggap sebagai kejahatan perang," lanjutnya.
