Nel corso di un confronto sull'ultima deposizione di Alberto Stasi, il giornalista Pino Rinaldi ha riconosciuto all'ex fidanzato di Chiara Poggi il merito di aver mantenuto una posizione prudente e lineare. Secondo Rinaldi, Stasi avrebbe potuto alimentare sospetti o lasciarsi andare a insinuazioni alla luce delle nuove indagini, ma ha scelto di attenersi ai fatti, dimostrando onestà. Una lettura condivisa solo in parte da Liborio Cataliotti, avvocato di Andrea Sempio. Il legale ha infatti osservato che Stasi stava rendendo una testimonianza sotto giuramento e che, in quanto testimone, aveva l'obbligo di dire la verità.
