PALERMO (ITALPRESS) - La Prefettura del capoluogo siciliano, di comune intesa con Confcommercio Imprese per l'Italia Palermo e Confesercenti Palermo, ha sottoscritto un protocollo di intesa che, sulla scia del precedente siglato lo scorso fine febbraio, punta a "rappresentare un deterrente per consentire un intervento immediato nel momento in cui si verificano situazioni criminali". Così Massimo Mariani, Prefetto di Palermo intervenuto nella spiegazione della struttura del nuovo sistema di sorveglianza a circuito chiuso che, in collegamento diretto con le diverse centrali operative della Polizia di Stato dislocate sul territorio palermitano, consentirà "una maggiore celerità ed efficenza di intervento". "Si tratta di un passo molto importante", sottolinea Mariani, ma "se sarà importantissimo ce lo diranno i risultati. Il commerciante avrà la possibilità, schiacciando un semplice tasto installato all'interno del proprio esercizio, di segnalare direttamente alla sala operativa quello che sta succedendo, trasmettendo così le immagini live all'interno o all'esterno del negozio.
