Hal itu terjadi setelah gelombang demonstrasi hingga kerusuhan hingga menimbulkan korban meninggal dunia.
Beberapa elemen aktivis mahasiswa yang terlihat di lokasi antara lain BEM UI, Trisakti, GMNI, GMKI, hingga HMI.
Mereka membacakan sejumlah tuntutan di hadapan tiga Wakil Ketua DPR RI, yakni Sufmi Dasco Ahmad, Saan Mustopa, dan Cucun Ahmad Syamsurijal.
Beberapa tuntutan antara lain soal pembentukan tim independen atas kematian sembilan warga sipil, termasuk Affan Kurniawan, dalam rangkaian gelombang aksi massa pada Agustus 2025.
Hari ini, aksi demonstrasi juga digelar Aliansi Perempuan Indonesia di depan Gedung DPR.
Dalam demonstrasi tersebut, massa menyingung mengenai kunjungan Presiden Prabowo Subianto ke China.
Orator dalam aksi ini menyebut Presiden Prabowo pergi ke China di saat rakyatnya sedang berjuang mencari keadilan.
Tak hanya Presiden Prabowo, DPR juga dikritik oleh massa aksi lantaran terlalu banyak menghambur-hamburkan uang.
Adapun dalam aksi ini, di atas mobil komando, turut dilibatkan juru bahasa isyarat untuk memberikan fasilitas kepada teman tuli dalam menyampaikan dan menyimak orasi.
