Ricuh! Warga Tolak Kompensasi Rp5 Juta PLTA Kerinci, Jalan Nasional Diblokade
SUMUT, KOMPAS.TV - Warga Desa Pulau Pandan memblokade Jalan Nasional Kerinci-Jambi sebagai bentuk protes menolak pembangunan proyek Pembangkit Listrik Tenaga Air. Warga menuntut kejelasan ganti rugi lahan yang hingga kini tak kunjung diselesaikan.Dua hari berturut-turut, ratusan warga Desa Pulau Pandan menggelar aksi unjuk rasa di lokasi proyek PLTA Kerinci.
Mereka menolak kompensasi senilai lima juta rupiah yang dinilai jauh dari kerugian sesungguhnya.
Unjuk rasa berubah memanas saat warga menerobos masuk ke area pembangunan bendungan PLTA.
Kericuhan pun tak terelakkan. Polisi menembakkan gas air mata untuk membubarkan massa.
Aksi protes terus dilakukan warga hingga malam hari. Mereka menegaskan tidak akan mundur sebelum ada kepastian ganti rugi lahan.
Namun buntut kericuhan ini, tujuh warga ditetapkan sebagai tersangka. Penetapan tersangka ini makin membuat warga meradang. Mereka kembali memblokade Jalan Nasional KerinciJambi yang menghambat aktivitas kendaraan.
Bupati Kerinci, Monadi, turun tangan untuk meredam amarah warga. Ia menyatakan siap menjadi jaminan bagi tujuh warga yang ditahan dan meminta agar blokir jalan kembali dibuka.
Setelah bernegosiasi, warga akhirnya bersedia membuka blokade jalan.
Aksi protes terhadap PLTA Kerinci ini bukan kali pertama. Warga menolak kompensasi Rp5 juta dari pihak PLTA karena dinilai tidak sebanding dengan kerugian lahan yang dialami warga Desa Pulau Pandan.
